The 100 Day Challenge for Mark Hultgren
By MKWeb | September 30, 2009
Well, last week during the on the Beginners Marketing Class Talk Show I accepted the challenge and publicly set my goal to earn $65,000 by Jan. 1, 2010.
At that time it would break down to be gross earnings of $650 per day.
I decided to track everything I did to follow what I did, how it is\was working and to see if we can determine a better method or plan.
I decided to promote two websites to make my goal easier to acheive and even created a Google Doc spreadsheet to keep track of each week’s progress.
So how far have I come in one week?
I posted some ads on a couple ‘Ad-boards’ 2gslinks.com, USfreeads.com, FreeAdDepot.com.
Posted a couple groups of Tweets and added my sites to some traffic exchanges.
What was the result?
I had to up my bandwidth three times due to all of the traffic! I have a video on one of the sites and that ate up plenty of bandwidth the first five days.! So what did I gain from all this? At last count, I have added 24 new names to my email list for one site and another 40 to the other site!
So where are these two sites?
The bandwidth exceeding site is
and the second site is my weekly collections site is
Next week I will post the link to the Google Docs Spreadsheet for you to look at the stats from this past week too!

Well done Mark,
It will be interesting to see the Conversion results as the days go on.
I know you are aware of the fact this has to be a Steady, mundane task of keeping your Message in front of the Targeted audience.
That is usually Easy with continued Focus on the Goal.

Mark,
Have you changed the post or password? My three attempts did not access the page.
To All,
I am considering the challenge. My gut says “go for it,jump right in”, my head says “where and how should I start?” I have issues with crafting business plan so I need guidance and need to start at step one. I know when the time is right I will receive the guidance and support I need from this group.

Hi David, Thanks for the notice! Happens when you get in a hurry doing a rebuild of a site.
So what did you think of the new theme? That is a pretty versatile theme as you will be seeing in the near future.
Anyone that wants one like it, just let me know.

OK The link should work now without a password. I installed Intense Debate on the blog and it may have something to do with the password protection settings and readers not being ’subscribers’ of the blog.
