The poem reminded me of an old gospel song, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere. I believe heaven is there and I will reach it when my time comes, but concentrating on that wonderful place at the end of life's journey will never get us to a place here on earth where our earthly dreams will come true. Yes, heaven is good to contemplate and can be a catalyst to achieving my dreams, but I have to get to Action Island, as Sean McNeely calls it,and launch out into the deep in order to arrive at my earthly destiny. And yes, I did enjoy that video. Only problem is that there's something wrong with the link. I had to copy and paste it into my browser.
